HOW TO ROOT HTC DESIRE 826::::


Follow the instruction

1. first unlock the bootloader.

2.so go to HTC DEV.com just register or login it

3. now click unlock bootloader and get start it ... before that backup your contact,sms,pic etc.. because phone will format after unlocking bootloader.... (unlocking bootloader will cancel your warrenty)

4. select all other supported models. and click yes

5. and go to next page dont download anything


6.now you need your latest HTC driver download and install it. now take your phone and get in to bootloader. turnoff your phone then press and hold volume down+Power key... and hit on fastboot then connect USB cable which connected in your PC .. dont close the page
7. now download SIDDY BOOT.zip extract it and open the folder then hold shift and RCLICK.. you will see the option (open command window here) click on it and type this in given Picture
8. then you get token just right click and mark the token  and copy by CTRL+C ane paste it on HTCDEV page
then click submit. now go to your mail which is register in HTCDEV account

9. you will see a mail from HTC.. with an attachment.... just download and paste it into             SIDDY BOOT folder .....

10. now click setup.bat on siddy boot folder... hit U and press enter to unlock your device bootloader
after this your device will show.... like this use volume and powerbutton. click YES to unlock bootloader... after that yourdevice will formated

now your device is unlocker...

HOW TO INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY ON HTC DESIRE 826

11. now get into bootloader and open fastboot plugin your USB and open SIDDY BOOT folder on your pc.... click SETUP.BAT and press f  and enter into it to flash your recovery..
now recovery is installed..

12.first download SUPER USER.zip and Busybox.zip save it on internal memory on download folder.... or anywere but you should know it where you are pasted...

13. now reboot into recovery... go into bootloader and hit on recovery... 

14. now recovery is opened touch on install and locate the download folder then click on Superuser.zip and touch add zip then click Busybox.zip then swipe the trigger to install... but before that back up your os by touching BACKUP in twrp.

NOW YOUR DEVICE IS ROOTED....

HOW TO ACCESS BUSBOX... 

15.Download root explorer.apk


open root explorer... and click root got to system/xbin



now click MOUNT R/W


now mark busybox and click option button and click permission


now change the permission as given below...


now click ok to save... now busy box is installed

HOW TO DISABLE SElinux...

16. First down load and install SELinux Mode Changer.apk.. and open it and click permissive

now its done..

NOW HTC DESIRE IS SUCCESSFULLY ROOTED... 

CHECK IT WITH ROOT VALIDATOR




HOW TO UNROOT HTC DESIRE 826

17. open superSU on your appdraw and go to settings then click Fullunroot 




after rebooting your device will unrooted

    How did you flash the superuser and busybox since this wont work when installed on internal memory and this phone comes encrypted so no acces to ext sd from the twrp recovery?

    i had copied both files into internal memory and also into sd card . But i could not see them when i click on install button . What to do now?

      when your charger is in connect twrp doesnt work... its works only in manual power on

    Hi there, Same here touch dose not work. Same phone model it works for you but why it's dose not work for me...? Please! Let me clear, This all procedure are fulfill? and I have try TWRP with normal boot.

    In newer models touch doesn't work but u can use a mouse using otg cable

    Hi Dear Rock4hell, Mouse are working... in TWRP mode. I see you facing same problem like me :) All are well but only touch dose not work in TWRP mode. Like a some pain. I don't know. Please! Let me know.

    When ever I switched off the phone and connect it to the charger the phone auto matically slips into recovery. And we can't use the touch screen in the recovey. So Each and every time my battery drains, Ihave to cahrge the phone and remove the battery and reconnect it(Pain in the ass in this mobile.. ).
    Can you fix it ..?
